Our Story

Tate & Emily’s love story began on August 20, 2016, when we crossed paths at Ole Miss. It was Emily’s 20th birthday, and in true 2016 fashion, we added each other on Snapchat. Over the next three years, our lives intertwined a few times but ultimately life took us in different directions, and we lost touch.

Fast forward to October 2019. Tate took a leap of faith and moved from his hometown of San Diego to Nashville, where Emily was already living. We quickly reconnected, and after a few dates, we both knew this was something special.

Just as our relationship began to flourish, COVID-19 turned the world upside down. We found ourselves moving in with Emily’s parents for a few weeks and this challenge became the best bonding experience. By the end of 2020, we officially moved in together. Since then, we’ve cherished every moment—traveling, enjoying concerts, trying new restaurants, and spoiling our dog, Finn.

And the rest is history

In May 2024, Tate proposed, and Emily said yes! It was a day filled with love and joy, and we couldn’t wait to start this new chapter together. Just a month later, we bought our first home in Nashville, and our hearts are fuller than ever. We are so excited to celebrate our love with all of you at our wedding. Here’s to many more adventures, laughter, and love in our future!
