WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?

We recommend flying into Puerto Plata as group transportation is arranged for this airport and it is only 1 hour 15 minutes from Cabrera. Santo Domingo is the second best option. We suggest setting up Google flight tracking to get the best prices!

USING YOUR PHONE INTERNATIONALLY

We highly advise that you check with your phone carrier for the best phone plan overseas. There will be WiFi access at all villas.

BEST METHOD FOR CURRENCY?

We do not recommend exchanging dollars to pesos at the airport. The exchange rate is high and the villas accept USD for spa services, excursions, and any souvenirs. Please bring US cash.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

Please bring appropriate attire for the white party and wedding. Pack water shoes if you wish to explore the ocean in front of the villas due to the sharp rocks, coral reef, and sea urchins on the ocean floor. Playa Grande and Playa Catelon do not require water shoes. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, sunhat, etc. as purchasing options will be limited. The villas will have soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryers. Please bring all other personal items. There is a free laundry service for washing, drying, and ironing. No steamers available. Villas provide bath, beach, and pool towels.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

The weather in Cabrera in January is on average 75-80F and sunny!

CAN WE BRING OUR KIDS?

They are welcome to join us at the white party as we understand many of you may be bringing your children to the DR, but request that the ceremony and reception be adults only. Please contact Ryann or Emily to arrange childcare with one of the on-site CPR-certified, bilingual nannies for the night of the wedding.
